QualityPRO Power Washing Restaurant Wash

Cleaning and maintenance of the front sidewalk, patio, and dumpster area using water supplied from a hydrant.

This project involved a full exterior flatwork cleaning for a restaurant in Chattanooga, TN, focusing on the front sidewalk, outdoor patio, and the dumpster/service area. All work was completed using a dedicated water supply from a nearby hydrant and a commercial-grade restaurant wash solution appropriate for food-service environments.

The front sidewalk was heavily marked by foot traffic, drink spills, general grime, and light organic growth. The surface was pre-treated with detergent designed to break down embedded dirt and oils, then cleaned with surface-cleaning equipment to ensure an even finish with no visible striping. Edges and tight areas near planters, posts, and building transitions were detailed with a wand to maintain a consistent appearance. The goal was to restore a clean, uniform walking surface that reflects well on the business as guests approach the entrance.

The patio area required similar attention but included additional buildup from food and beverage spills, grease tracking from staff, and general outdoor contaminants. The restaurant wash solution was applied to emulsify oils and organic residues without damaging the concrete or neighboring finishes. After allowing time for the product to work, the patio was thoroughly surface-cleaned and then rinsed to remove all detergents and suspended soils. Particular care was taken around table areas, expansion joints, and decorative features to ensure a thorough, even result and a noticeably brighter, fresher-looking outdoor dining space.

The dumpster and service area presented the heaviest contamination, including grease drips, food residue, and general waste-related staining. This zone received a more intensive pretreatment with a stronger concentration of restaurant wash capable of addressing protein-based stains and grease. The concrete was agitated and then pressure-cleaned, with attention given to areas where oils tend to pool and where previous spills had dried into the surface. Rinse water was managed to prevent tracking contaminants into public areas, leaving the service zone cleaner, safer underfoot, and noticeably less odorous.

Throughout the project, water was supplied from a hydrant connection, ensuring consistent pressure and volume for efficient cleaning over the larger square footage. This allowed for uninterrupted operation of surface cleaners and rinse lines, shortening overall project time and producing a uniform result from one end of the property to the other.

By the end of the job, the front sidewalk, patio, and dumpster area were all restored to a much higher standard of cleanliness. The visible staining and buildup had been significantly reduced or eliminated, walking surfaces were brightened, and the overall exterior presentation of the restaurant was greatly improved for both guests and staff.
