QualityPRO Power Washing Foodliner Dry Goods Tanker Deluxe Wash Bi-Weekly Service

Pressure cleaned surfaces with detergents, applied brightener as needed, and thoroughly rinsed to remove all residue.

For Foodliner’s Dry Goods Tanker Deluxe Wash in Chattanooga, our team completed a bi-weekly deep-cleaning program focused on safety, cleanliness, and appearance across the listed tankers (including units 507034, 507082, 511094, 513040, 514026, 514083, 514097, 514115, 514198, 522041, 524092, and 524192).

Each service cycle began with a thorough exterior inspection of every tanker. This included checking the barrel, ladder, catwalk, hose tubes, valves, and rear assemblies for accumulated road film, product residue, dust, and other contaminants typically gathered during regular operations. Any areas showing heavier buildup, especially around fittings and seams, were noted for additional attention during washing.

The primary cleaning phase involved pressure washing the tankers with a controlled blend of detergents. The detergents were selected and mixed to effectively break down surface residue without harming the polished metal, decals, or safety markings. Using high-pressure equipment, the technicians worked methodically from top to bottom, ensuring all accessible surfaces were addressed: domes, manways, side walls, front and rear heads, undercarriage splash zones, and any intricate hardware areas where residue tends to collect.

Where staining, oxidation, or dulling was present—particularly on aluminum and other bright metal components—a specialized brightener was applied. This brightener was used selectively, only on areas that required restoration of luster or removal of stubborn road film and discoloration. The application was closely controlled to avoid overuse, focusing on improving appearance and reflectivity while maintaining the integrity of the metal surfaces.

After the detergents and brightener had been allowed adequate dwell time to work, each tanker was given a thorough, high-volume rinse. This rinse removed all chemical residues, loose contaminants, and runoff, preventing streaking and ensuring that surfaces were left clean and uniform. Extra care was given to rinse around fittings, gaskets, and seams so that no trace of cleaning agents remained.

Throughout the process, attention was paid to preserving required DOT markings, company branding, and safety labels. The result of the completed work was a consistently clean and bright fleet of dry goods tankers, with surface residues removed, metalwork refreshed where needed, and all units ready to return to service while presenting a professional appearance at customer facilities and on the road.
