QualityPRO Power Washing Foodliner Sleeper Cabs Deluxe Wash Bi-Weekly Service, Foodliner Dry Goods Tanker Deluxe Wash Bi-Weekly Service
Pressure cleaned surfaces using detergents, applied brightener where needed, and thoroughly rinsed to remove residue.
This ongoing project involved providing a consistent, bi-weekly deluxe wash service for Foodliner’s sleeper cabs and dry goods tanker fleet at their Chattanooga location. The work was performed to a set standard on each visit to ensure the vehicles remained clean, presentable, and well-maintained for both drivers and customers.
For each service appointment, the assigned units (including, but not limited to, trucks and tankers under IDs 221044, 511070, 511087, 511092, 512114, 513026, 515084, 516006, 518074, 520185, 523063, 523265, and 524077/524086) were brought through a detailed exterior cleaning process. The focus was on reliably repeating the same thorough steps every two weeks so that appearance never had a chance to deteriorate between washes.
The work began with a complete pressure cleaning of each vehicle using a carefully selected blend of detergents. This detergent mix was chosen to break down common road film, grime, and organic residue without damaging painted surfaces, polished metals, plastics, decals, or seals. High-pressure application allowed the crew to reach undercarriage areas, wheel ends, steps, fuel tanks, fenders, rear doors, and difficult-to-access points around the tractor and trailer connections. Special attention was paid to high-contact and high-visibility zones: front ends, grills, mirrors, lower side panels, landing gear areas, and rear discharge or loading sections on the tankers.
Where appropriate, a brightener was applied to restore and enhance the appearance of metal components. This was used selectively, focusing on surfaces that benefit from a renewed, uniform look—such as aluminum rails, tanks, and other brightwork—while avoiding any areas where brightener would not be suitable. The crew evaluated each unit individually on every service date to determine exactly where brightener would add value, rather than applying it indiscriminately.
After detergent and brightener contact time, each unit received a thorough, methodical rinse. The rinse step was performed at sufficient pressure and coverage to fully remove cleaning agents, along with any loosened dirt and residue. Care was taken to avoid streaking, spotting, or chemical residue by working systematically from top to bottom and ensuring complete coverage of all sides, ends, and underbody zones. The final rinse left the surfaces clean and free of film, restoring a consistent, professional appearance across the fleet.
Because the work was performed on a bi-weekly schedule, the condition of the sleeper cabs and dry goods tankers stayed consistently high. Built-up grime never became a major issue, reducing the effort required on each subsequent visit and helping protect finishes and metal surfaces over time. The result was a fleet that remained visibly clean and well-cared-for on a regular, predictable basis, without lapses in appearance between services.
In summary, the completed work on this project consisted of:
- Bi-weekly, repeatable deluxe wash cycles for Foodliner sleeper cabs and dry goods tankers in Chattanooga
- Pressure cleaning with a tailored detergent blend to remove surface film and road residue
- Targeted use of brightener on appropriate metal and brightwork areas to restore and maintain a clean, bright finish
- A comprehensive, top-to-bottom, high-pressure rinse to ensure all cleaning agents and loosened contaminants were removed
This disciplined, process-driven approach ensured that each identified vehicle in the Foodliner Chattanooga fleet received the same level of detailed exterior care on every visit, maintaining a consistently clean and professional appearance over the course of the service period.
