QualityPRO Power Washing Commercial Concrete Wash
Interior cleaning of three warehouse buildings, including trash removal, deep detergent wash, and drying to remove contaminants and prepare surfaces for sealing.
This project involved a full interior concrete cleaning of three warehouse buildings in Chattanooga, preparing the floors for a sealer application and ensuring the spaces were clean, presentable, and ready for use.
Work began with a thorough walkthrough and trash removal across all three interiors. Loose debris, packaging materials, and miscellaneous waste were picked up and removed so that the cleaning process would be more effective and no obstructions would interfere with washing or water flow.
Once the areas were cleared, the concrete floors were deep cleaned using a surface wash process and a carefully selected blend of detergents. These cleaning agents were chosen to break down and lift mold, mildew, dust, pollen, dirt, and other residue commonly found in active or previously used warehouse environments. The washing was performed methodically to ensure consistent coverage across all floor sections, including high-traffic areas and corners where buildup tends to accumulate.
After the detergents had adequate dwell time to work into the surface contaminants, the floors were thoroughly rinsed. The rinse phase removed the loosened grime as well as any remaining cleaning solution, leaving the surface clean and properly prepared for a sealer to bond.
To support faster drying and a better sealer-ready surface, excess water was then managed using squeegees and backpack blowers. Water was directed toward appropriate drainage points and away from low spots, minimizing puddling. The combination of mechanical water removal and air movement helped the concrete dry more quickly and evenly.
By the end of the project, all three warehouse interiors had clean, decontaminated concrete floors with surface residues removed and moisture managed, providing a properly prepped substrate for the next stage of sealing and finishing.
