QualityPRO Power Washing Large Awning Cleaning, Commercial Concrete Wash

This project involved a full exterior cleaning of a large commercial awning system along with adjacent concrete surfaces at a commercial property in Chattanooga.

For the awning portion, the team performed a complete soft wash using mild, specially selected detergents designed to target organic growth without damaging the material. The top, underside, and metal frame of the awning were all treated. Mold, mildew, and embedded dirt were carefully loosened and removed, with particular attention to seams, edges, and hardware where buildup is most common. The entire structure was then thoroughly rinsed using patented low-pressure SoftWash equipment to protect the fabric and extend the usable life of the awning. Due to the age, fabric type, and preexisting condition of the awnings, the crew worked within safe cleaning limits, focusing on achieving the best possible improvement without risking damage, while understanding that some deep-set stains and weathering could not be fully eliminated.

In addition to the awning work, the surrounding commercial concrete areas were surface washed to restore a clean, uniform appearance. A controlled blend of detergents was applied to break down mold, mildew, dust, pollen, dirt, and other surface residues that had built up from foot traffic and weather exposure. After sufficient dwell time, the concrete was methodically surface washed and then thoroughly rinsed, ensuring that detergents and lifted contaminants were fully removed. The result was a brighter, more inviting entry and walk area that complemented the freshly cleaned awning and improved the overall curb appeal of the property.
