This project involved a complete exterior cleaning of a one-story residence, pool house, and residential deck with handrails and screened-in porch in Soddy-Daisy. The work focused on restoring the appearance of all exterior vertical surfaces and improving the overall cleanliness of the outdoor living spaces.
For the main house and pool house, the soffits, fascia, exterior gutters, downspouts, and siding were thoroughly cleaned. This included all types of exterior cladding present on the property—such as brick, vinyl, Hardie Board, or stucco. A soft washing process was used throughout, applying a carefully mixed blend of detergents designed to loosen and lift organic growth and surface contaminants. This method effectively removed accumulated dirt, dust, mold, mildew, pollen, cobwebs, and other residue without the risk of damage that can come from high-pressure washing.
In areas where light staining or embedded dirt was present, the siding and other surfaces were gently scrubbed to help break up the buildup before being rinsed. All treated surfaces were then rinsed thoroughly to wash away detergents and dislodged debris, leaving a clean, uniform finish around the entire exterior.
The same soft wash process was used on the deck, handrails, and screened-in porch. These areas often collect a high amount of pollen, dust, and mildew due to exposure and frequent use, so special attention was given to ensuring that horizontal and vertical surfaces were cleaned evenly. After application of the cleaning solution, the deck, railings, and porch enclosure were rinsed completely to restore a fresh, well-maintained appearance.
The completed work not only improved the curb appeal of the property but also helped extend the life of the exterior materials by removing organic growth and contaminants. The cleaning is backed by a 1-year mold and mildew warranty on the washed surfaces (and a 2-year warranty on roof cleaning when applicable), reflecting the long-lasting results of the work performed.
