In Signal Mountain, this project involved a full exterior and selected interior refresh of a single-family home, focused on durability, curb appeal, and long-term ease of maintenance in a mountain climate.
The work began with a thorough inspection of all exterior surfaces, including siding, trim, fascia, soffits, doors, and railings. Any loose, peeling, or failing paint was scraped and sanded to a sound surface, and glossy areas were scuff-sanded to ensure proper adhesion. Exposed wood and any previously uncoated areas were spot-primed with an appropriate bonding/wood primer, and minor surface imperfections were patched and feathered smooth. All gaps at critical joints—around windows, doors, trim transitions, and horizontal seams—were sealed with exterior-grade caulk to help improve weather resistance.
