Work began at the back of the building, where the existing surface showed signs of settlement and cracking from constant foot traffic and service use. The area was fully demolished, subgrade conditions were corrected, and a new reinforced concrete pad was poured to provide a stable, even surface at the back door. Particular attention was given to slope and drainage so that water now moves away from the threshold, reducing slip hazards and preventing standing water near the entry.
