This project involved a full exterior refresh and detail cleaning of a commercial property in Chattanooga, with particular focus on the pedestrian bridge, concrete surfaces, and second-story glass.

Work began with a thorough power rinse of the pedestrian bridge structure. The ceiling and walls were carefully rinsed to remove accumulated dirt, spider webs, and surface contaminants, with special attention given to the metal walkway roof to clear off residue and runoff staining. The blue tubing along the bridge handrail was also power rinsed to prepare it for repainting, ensuring a clean and sound surface for proper adhesion.

Once the tubing was cleaned and dried, the blue handrail sections were fully repainted. This included surface prep after washing, addressing any minor imperfections, and then applying a consistent, even coat to restore the color and improve overall appearance. The result was a refreshed, uniform finish on all the blue tubing along the pedestrian bridge.

All hardscape areas within the scope were pressure washed, including the landings and concrete parking areas. These surfaces were cleaned to remove dirt, tire marks, algae, and general buildup, improving both appearance and traction underfoot. The pressure washing was performed methodically to maintain consistent results and avoid damage to existing concrete finishes.

In addition to the structural and concrete work, the project included detailed window cleaning. A total of forty-five second-story exterior windows and one exterior door were hand washed. Ladders and appropriate tools were used to safely access the upper-story glass, and the work was done by hand to ensure streak-free, detailed results around edges, frames, and seals.

After the painting work was completed, a return visit was made for a final clean. This follow-up focused on removing any overspray dust, paint smudges, or residual debris from nearby surfaces, re-checking the pedestrian bridge, handrails, and concrete areas, and ensuring the windows and door remained clean and presentable. The completed project left the building’s exterior, bridge, and surrounding concrete surfaces looking renewed and well maintained.
