This project involved a complete exterior cleaning of a one-story residence in Chattanooga, including the home’s exterior surfaces, surrounding concrete, and a vinyl fence.

The work began with a full house wash, focusing on all exterior vertical surfaces and trim. The soffits, fascia, exterior gutters, downspouts, and siding were cleaned using a soft washing method. A carefully mixed blend of detergents was applied to the home’s exterior, which included a combination of siding materials: brick, vinyl, and/or Hardie board/stucco. The solution was allowed to dwell long enough to break down accumulated dirt, dust, mold, mildew, pollen, cobwebs, and other surface contaminants.

Where needed, light agitation was used to address lightly stained or more stubborn, embedded dirt—particularly around high-contact areas, drip lines, and shaded sections prone to organic growth. After treatment, all surfaces were thoroughly rinsed from top to bottom to ensure that detergents and loosened residue were completely removed, leaving the exterior clean and uniformly refreshed.

The concrete areas—such as driveway, walkways, or patio—were cleaned using a surface wash process. Detergents were applied to lift mold, mildew, and ground-in dirt from the porous concrete surface. A surface cleaner was then used to provide an even, consistent clean, followed by a detailed rinse to flush away all remaining residue and cleaning solution.

The vinyl fence received a dedicated soft wash as well. Detergents were applied to remove organic growth, surface dirt, and environmental buildup. The fence was then thoroughly rinsed to restore a bright, uniform appearance along the full length of the panels and posts, paying attention to joints, seams, and lower sections where buildup is usually the heaviest.

All work was completed using low-pressure techniques appropriate for each material to protect finishes while still achieving a deep clean. The completed job left the home’s exterior, concrete surfaces, and vinyl fencing noticeably brighter, free of organic growth and surface grime, and set up to resist the return of mold and mildew for an extended period, in line with the project’s mold & mildew warranty coverage.
