This project in Signal Mountain involved a full exterior soft wash of the home along with a detailed cleaning of the wood deck. The work focused on restoring the appearance of the property while protecting its materials and finishes.

For the house itself, all soffits, fascia, exterior gutters, downspouts, and vertical wall surfaces were cleaned. This included a mix of siding types—brick, vinyl, Hardie board, and any areas of stucco. A low-pressure soft wash process was used throughout to avoid damage to the exterior while still providing a deep clean.

The cleaning solution was a controlled blend of detergents designed to break down and remove common organic growth and surface contaminants. This treatment effectively addressed dirt, dust, mold, mildew, pollen, cobwebs, and general surface residue that had accumulated over time. Where needed, siding and other surfaces were gently scrubbed to lift light staining and embedded dirt that did not release with detergent alone. After treatment, all areas were thoroughly rinsed to remove any remaining detergent and residues, leaving a clean, uniform appearance across the exterior.

The wood deck received a similar soft wash treatment, tailored to be safe for the wood. The same blend of detergents was used at an appropriate strength to remove mold, mildew, dirt, pollen, and surface buildup from the deck boards, railings, and steps. The cleaning process restored the natural look of the wood while preparing it for any future sealing or staining the homeowner may choose to do. All surfaces were rinsed carefully to ensure no detergent remained and that the deck could dry clean and evenly.

By the end of the project, the home’s exterior and wood deck were thoroughly cleaned, with organic growth and surface contaminants removed, and all treated surfaces left bright, refreshed, and ready for long-term enjoyment.
