This project involved a comprehensive exterior cleaning of a restaurant in Chattanooga, focused on all high-traffic and high-impact areas around the building. The work was completed using professional pressure-washing techniques and a targeted blend of detergents formulated to address the specific types of buildup common to restaurant environments.
The cleaning began with the back sidewalks and trash-sidewalk area, which typically accumulate heavy soil, grease, and organic growth over time. These surfaces were pre-treated with a detergent mix designed to break down mold, mildew, grease, dirt, pollen, and other surface residues. After allowing adequate dwell time for the detergents to loosen contaminants, the concrete was pressure cleaned methodically to lift and remove embedded grime, restoring a more uniform, clean appearance.
The dumpster corral received special attention due to its exposure to food waste and oils. This area was treated with a stronger focus on degreasing and sanitizing the concrete and surrounding surfaces. All visible buildup, stains, and residues were thoroughly addressed, and the pressure cleaning process was used to flush contaminants out of pits, joints, and corners that tend to trap debris and odors.
At the front entrance, the objective was both cleanliness and curb appeal. The same detergent blend was applied to remove mildew, dark traffic marks, drink spills, and general soiling that naturally accumulate where guests enter and exit. Pressure cleaning was carried out with care to avoid damage to adjacent finishes while still delivering a deep, even clean across the entry walkways and approach areas.
Following the pressure washing, all cleaned surfaces received a thorough rinse to remove detergent residue and dislodged debris. Water and runoff were directed appropriately to keep walkways clear and safe, and to prevent tracking soil back onto freshly cleaned areas. The result is a cleaner, brighter exterior that supports both a more sanitary working environment in the rear areas and a more welcoming appearance for guests at the front of the restaurant.
