This commercial project in Chattanooga focused on a complete exterior cleaning of a brick, stone, or block commercial Retaining Wall Pressure Washing and its connected access areas. Before any washing began, the on-site fire alarm was carefully protected. The alarm was fully covered with plastic and securely taped to prevent any water or cleaning solution from reaching the unit during the wash process, ensuring that the system remained dry and functional throughout the project.

All vertical surfaces—facial, soffit, railings, and related elements—were treated using a soft wash method. A controlled blend of mild detergents was applied to break down mold, mildew, pollen, dirt, dust, and other surface buildup. This solution was allowed to dwell for the appropriate time and was then thoroughly rinsed using low-pressure SoftWash equipment. The low-pressure approach ensured that the brick, stone, or block surfaces, as well as painted and finished components like handrails and spindles, were cleaned effectively without damage.

The horizontal areas, including steps and the handicap ramp, received a separate surface wash. These walking surfaces were cleaned with a detergent blend designed to lift embedded contaminants such as mold, mildew, dirt, dust, and pollen. After application, all areas were thoroughly rinsed to carry away loosened residue and cleaning agents, leaving a clean, uniform appearance and improving both aesthetics and traction underfoot.
