Exterior rinsing of house, garage, walkway, driveway, and patio completed at two Hixson, TN residential properties.
This project involved post-construction exterior rinsing for two newly built homes by Collier Construction in Hixson, Tennessee—one at 5200 Certain Circle (Lot 6) and the other at 2855 Northpoint Blvd (Lot 37).
For each property, the work focused on carefully removing construction residue, dust, and light debris from all primary exterior hard surfaces. The scope included the house exterior, attached garage, front walkway, driveway, and rear patio.
The process began with a thorough visual assessment of each surface to identify areas with accumulated dust, mud, or construction splatter. Special attention was given to entryways, garage surrounds, and high-traffic access points that typically collect more debris during the building phase.
A controlled rinse method was used rather than aggressive washing, ensuring that newly finished materials—such as siding, exterior trim, and concrete—were cleaned without risk of damage. Water pressure and spray patterns were adjusted around more delicate areas, including doors, windows, and transition joints, to protect sealants and finishes.
The walkways and driveways were fully rinsed to clear off construction dirt, loose sediment, and fine dust, leaving a clean surface suitable for final inspections and homeowner occupancy. Patios were treated with the same care, ensuring that corners, edges, and expansion joints were free of leftover debris.
By the end of the project, both homes had clean, presentable exteriors and surrounding hardscapes, ready for final walkthroughs and move-in. The rinsing work supported the overall completion of the new construction by delivering a neat, well-finished appearance to each property.
