Washed the cab and performed acid brightening on the tank.
This project involved a complete exterior refresh of a commercial unit in Chattanooga, with focused attention on both the cab and the tank.
The work began with a thorough wash of the truck cab. All accessible exterior surfaces were cleaned to remove road film, dirt, and environmental buildup, with special care taken around seams, trim, mirrors, and hardware to ensure a uniform finish. Windows, painted panels, and chrome accents were all washed and rinsed to restore a clean, professional appearance.
Once the cab was completed, attention shifted to the tank. An acid brightening process was used to revive the metal surface, targeting oxidation, discoloration, and staining that had developed through regular service. The tank was carefully treated with the appropriate brightening solution, then thoroughly rinsed to reveal a clean, bright, and consistent finish across the entire surface.
By the end of the job, both the cab and the tank presented a significantly refreshed appearance, with the truck looking well-maintained and ready for continued service in a professional fleet environment.
