This completed project in Signal Mountain involved a full exterior refresh of a two-story home, including the house, wood deck, concrete surfaces, and a rooftop skylight.

The work began with a complete soft wash of the home’s exterior. All soffits, fascia, exterior gutters, and downspouts were treated, along with every vertical surface—siding, brick, vinyl, and any Hardie board or stucco sections. A low-pressure soft wash method was used, applying a carefully mixed blend of detergents designed to break down and remove common organic growth and buildup. This process effectively lifted most dirt, dust, mold, mildew, pollen, cobwebs, and other surface residues without risking damage to the materials.

Where the siding and other surfaces showed light staining or more embedded dirt, those areas were gently scrubbed to improve the final result. After treatment and any required agitation, all surfaces were thoroughly rinsed to ensure no detergent residue remained and to leave a clean, uniform appearance across the entire exterior. The cleaning work on the home’s exterior was completed under coverage of the company’s 1-year mold and mildew warranty, with a 2-year warranty applying to any roof cleaning.

The project also included cleaning of the wood deck and its steps. These were soft washed using the same type of detergent blend, focusing on removing mold, mildew, dirt, pollen, and surface grime that tend to accumulate on horizontal outdoor wood. The low-pressure, detergent-based approach allowed the wood to be cleaned effectively while maintaining the integrity of the deck boards and railings. This deck cleaning was incorporated as part of the overall house wash scope.

Beneath the deck, the concrete pad received a separate surface wash. Detergents were applied to lift mold, mildew, and ground-in dirt commonly found on shaded or high-traffic concrete areas. After allowing the solution to work, the concrete was surface washed and then thoroughly rinsed, restoring a brighter, more uniform look to the pad. This work was also included within the main house wash package.

Finally, the project addressed the home’s exterior windows, including a skylight located on the roof. The glass on the skylight and other exterior windows was cleaned and polished from the interior side to achieve a clear, streak-free finish. The service focused strictly on the glass surfaces; frames, tracks, and screens were not part of the scope on this job and would be handled as a separate service if requested.

By the end of the project, the home’s exterior, deck, and concrete areas were fully cleaned, leaving the property refreshed and protected against common organic growth for the warranty period that followed.
