This project involved a full seasonal exterior maintenance visit at a two-story residence in Chattanooga, focused on gutter cleaning, exterior window washing, and detailed cleaning of multiple glass doors, including a full glass storm door.

For the gutter system, all accessible gutters on the two-story home were thoroughly cleaned out. Leaves, small branches, and windblown debris were removed from the gutters, roofline, and all roof valleys to ensure nothing was left that could impede water flow. Because the home is equipped with leaf guards, special attention was given to clearing any buildup resting on top of the guards and ensuring that debris was not collecting along the edges. After the bulk debris was removed by hand and with appropriate tools, the gutters and downspouts were rinsed out to confirm proper drainage and identify any potential blockages. Downspout discharge points were visually checked while rinsing to verify consistent water flow from roof to ground. The window portion of the project focused on the exterior glass surfaces of the home’s windows on both the first and second stories. The work was limited to the glass surfaces only and did not include detailed cleaning of frames, screens, sills, or tracks. Ladders and appropriate equipment were used to safely access and clean the second-story windows, with care taken to leave the surrounding exterior surfaces undisturbed. The result was clear, streak-free glass that restored outward visibility and improved the overall appearance of the home’s exterior.

In addition to the standard windows, the project included interior and exterior cleaning of several glass doors. This encompassed the main entry door glass, three additional glass doors, and a garage door with windows. The full glass storm door received particular attention, with both sides of the glass cleaned to remove fingerprints, smudges, dust, and general buildup from regular use and exposure. Each door’s glass surface was washed and polished to achieve a clean, streak-free finish, enhancing both curb appeal from the outside and clarity of view from the inside.

By the end of the visit, the home’s gutters were free of debris and flowing properly, the roofline and valleys were cleared of loose leaves, and all designated windows and glass doors had been cleaned to restore clarity and brightness. This completed service left the property well-prepared for upcoming weather and seasonal changes, with a visible improvement in both function (through the gutters) and appearance (through the freshly cleaned glass surfaces).
