This completed project in Chattanooga involved a full exterior refresh of a residence, including the house, porches, concrete surfaces, gutters, shed, and greenhouse.

The work began with a detailed soft wash of the home’s exterior. All soffits, fascia, exterior gutters, downspouts, and vertical wall surfaces—whether siding, brick, vinyl, Hardie board, or stucco—were cleaned using a low-pressure detergent blend. This process removed accumulated dirt, dust, mold, mildew, pollen, cobwebs, and other organic buildup. Areas with light staining or embedded dirt were gently scrubbed by hand and then thoroughly rinsed to ensure an even, uniform appearance across the facade.

Special attention was given to the front porch and main entry. Windows and window frames were rinsed down, and the area over the front door was hand-cleaned to remove marks and residue that soft washing alone would not address. The inside of the front porch light fixtures was wiped out by hand, clearing away cobwebs, insects, and bee cones/nests, leaving the fixtures clean and presentable.

The rear screen porch and back covered porch received the same level of detailed care. A spider brush was used to remove cobwebs and insect debris from corners and hard-to-reach areas. Surfaces were hand scrubbed where needed and then rinsed thoroughly, restoring a clean, comfortable outdoor living space at the back of the home.

Concrete surfaces at the property, including the front walkway, were surface washed using detergents designed to break down mold, mildew, dirt, and other surface residues. After the cleaning agents had time to work, the concrete was thoroughly rinsed, removing the loosened contaminants and significantly brightening the appearance of the walkway.

The gutter system and roofline were also addressed in full. Debris was blown off the roof to prevent future buildup from washing back into the gutters. The gutters themselves were then cleaned out by hand, with leaves, twigs, and other obstructions removed from inside the channels. Once cleared, the gutters and downspouts were rinsed to confirm unobstructed flow and proper drainage.

In addition to the main house, the exterior of the rear shed and greenhouse was washed. These structures went through the same soft wash process as the home: cleaning soffits, fascia, exterior gutters, downspouts, and all vertical surfaces. The detergent blend was applied to remove mold, mildew, dirt, pollen, and cobwebs, followed by spot scrubbing where staining was present and a complete final rinse.

At completion, the property presented a consistent, refreshed appearance—from the main residence and porches to the concrete walkways and outbuildings—with exteriors free of visible mold, mildew, and organic debris. The work on this project was completed under a service scope that includes a 1-year mold and mildew warranty on cleaned surfaces (and 2 years on roof cleaning, where applicable).
