QualityPRO Power Washing
In Chattanooga, this project involved a complete transformation of a residential outdoor area into a functional, low‑maintenance, and visually cohesive landscape.
The work began with a thorough site assessment to understand existing grades, drainage patterns, soil conditions, and how the homeowner used the space. All existing, failing, or unwanted landscape elements were removed, including overgrown vegetation, deteriorated edging, and compacted groundcover that was preventing proper water movement.
Grading and drainage were addressed first. The yard was carefully re‑graded to promote correct water runoff away from the home and key outdoor living areas. Low spots that previously collected water were reshaped, and subtle contouring was introduced to ensure that stormwater moved evenly across the property instead of pooling. In areas prone to erosion, the soil profile was improved and stabilized before any new materials were installed.
Once the base conditions were corrected, new hardscape elements were installed to define circulation and usable spaces. Durable, weather‑appropriate materials were selected to suit Chattanooga’s climate and to coordinate with the home’s existing exterior. Pathways were laid out to create clear, comfortable routes from the house to outdoor features, while transitions between lawn, beds, and hardscape were designed to be clean and easy to maintain.
Planting beds were redesigned with a focus on structure, year‑round interest, and practicality. Old plantings were replaced with a curated mix of shrubs, ornamental grasses, and perennials chosen for their performance in the local growing conditions and their ability to provide texture and color across seasons. The planting plan emphasized layered heights and thoughtful spacing so that, as plants mature, they fill the space without overcrowding. Mulch was installed to suppress weeds, retain soil moisture, and give the beds a finished, uniform appearance.
Throughout the project, attention was given to long‑term maintenance needs. Plant selections, bed layouts, and hardscape details were all planned to minimize future upkeep while keeping the space attractive and functional. The end result is a completed landscape that works well with the property’s natural grade, improves drainage, and offers the homeowner a well‑organized and inviting outdoor environment.
