QualityPRO Power Washing
In Chattanooga, this project involved a full exterior and interior refresh of a residential property, completed with close attention to detail and coordination with the homeowner’s schedule and preferences.
The work began with a thorough assessment of the home’s existing condition, including siding, trim, doors, and interior walls and ceilings. All exterior surfaces were cleaned and prepared, which included pressure washing, scraping loose or peeling paint, sanding rough areas, and spot-priming bare or repaired sections. Any minor surface flaws, such as small cracks, nail holes, and weathered areas, were repaired to ensure a uniform finish. Caulking was applied around windows, doors, and joints to improve both appearance and weather resistance.
Once preparation was completed, the exterior received fresh coats of high-quality paint, color-matched to the homeowner’s selections. Trim, shutters, doors, and other architectural details were painted separately to create clean contrasts and crisp lines. Special care was taken to protect landscaping, walkways, and surrounding property with drop cloths and masking, and all masking materials were removed promptly after painting to leave the home and yard clean and orderly.
Inside, all work began with careful protection of floors, furniture, and fixtures. Walls and ceilings were inspected for imperfections; nail pops, hairline cracks, and previous patchwork were addressed with appropriate fillers and sanding for a smooth, even surface. Stained areas and high-traffic sections were spot-primed to ensure consistent color and coverage. The interior painting included walls, ceilings, doors, and trim, each finished with products suited to their use (for example, washable finishes in high-traffic areas and moisture-resistant coatings where needed).
Color transitions between rooms and surfaces were executed with consistent, straight cut lines along ceilings, trim, and corners. Doors and trim were sanded between coats where necessary to achieve a smooth finish free of visible brush marks. Hardware and fixtures that needed to be removed or loosened during painting were reinstalled and checked for proper operation once the work was complete.
Throughout the project, the home remained livable, with work scheduled and phased to minimize disruption. Each day concluded with a thorough cleanup: tools were organized, debris was removed, and walkways were kept clear and safe. At the end of the job, a final walkthrough was conducted with the homeowner to confirm that all agreed-upon areas had been completed, touch-ups were addressed, and the property was left in neat condition.
The completed project resulted in a refreshed, updated look for the Chattanooga home, with improved curb appeal on the exterior and clean, cohesive finishes throughout the interior spaces.
