QualityPRO Power Washing Commercial Exterior Cleaning in Chattanooga TN
This project involved a comprehensive three-phase exterior cleaning of a commercial snack building in Chattanooga, utilizing customized power washing and soft washing techniques to safely remove organic growth and debris from the concrete walkways, masonry walls, and asphalt shingle roof.
This project involved a complete exterior cleaning of a commercial snack building in Chattanooga, including the concrete flatwork, the brick/stone/block exterior walls, and the asphalt shingle roof. The work was performed in three coordinated phases to restore the building’s appearance and remove organic growth and surface contaminants.
**1. Commercial Concrete Power Washing**
All concrete around the snack building—such as walkways, entry pads, and adjacent hard surfaces—was surface washed using a professional blend of detergents. This cleaning solution was applied to break down and lift mold, mildew, dust, pollen, dirt, and other residue that had built up over time from regular foot traffic and exposure to the elements. Once the detergents had sufficient dwell time to work, the concrete was thoroughly rinsed, leaving a brighter, cleaner surface free of organic staining and loose debris.
**2. Commercial Building Wash (Brick, Stone, or Block)**
The exterior walls of the snack building, constructed of masonry materials, were cleaned using a soft wash process. A mild detergent blend was applied at low pressure to safely treat mold, mildew, pollen, dirt, dust, and other surface contaminants without damaging the masonry or mortar joints. The cleaning solution was allowed to work into the pores and textured areas of the brick/stone/block, lifting the growth and buildup. All sides of the building were then thoroughly rinsed with low-pressure SoftWash equipment, ensuring that detergents and loosened residues were fully removed while preserving the integrity of the exterior surfaces.
**3. Commercial Asphalt Shingle Roof Wash**
The asphalt shingle roof of the snack building was cleaned using a soft wash method designed specifically for roofing materials. A carefully mixed detergent solution was applied at low pressure to target mold, mildew, and general roof staining, loosening organic growth and dark streaks without disrupting the shingles or their protective granules. After the detergents had time to work, the roof was thoroughly rinsed. In addition, all surfaces below the roofline—such as gutters, fascia, siding, and nearby flatwork—were rinsed to remove any runoff or overspray, leaving the entire area clean and uniform in appearance.
By the end of the project, the snack building’s roof, walls, and surrounding concrete surfaces had been fully washed and rinsed, resulting in a noticeably refreshed exterior. The coordinated approach ensured that each surface was cleaned with methods and detergents suited to the material, while protecting the structure and surrounding areas throughout the process.
