The project involved a comprehensive cleaning of a shared patio and pavilion in Chattanooga through debris removal, pressure washing of surfaces, and detailed treatment of structural elements to restore the area for public use.
This project involved a thorough cleaning and refresh of a shared patio and pavilion area in Chattanooga, returning it to a comfortable, welcoming space for everyday use and group gatherings.
The work began with a full assessment of the pavilion structure and surrounding hardscape to identify buildup, staining, and high-traffic problem areas. All surfaces—including concrete/paver flooring, posts, railings, seating areas, and adjacent walkways—were cleared of debris and loose dirt to prepare for a deeper clean.
A controlled-pressure wash was then performed across the main patio and pavilion floor. Water pressure and nozzles were adjusted to effectively remove embedded dirt, mildew, and organic growth without damaging the surface finish. Particular attention was paid to edges, corners, and joints where grime tends to accumulate. Stubborn spots such as rust marks, drink spills, and ground-in stains were pre-treated and then rinsed clean.
Vertical elements such as columns, support beams, fencing, and any built-in benches or counters were hand-cleaned or low-pressure washed as appropriate. This included removing cobwebs, pollen, dust, and residues that tend to collect under covered outdoor structures. Once the wash and detailing were complete, the entire space was rinsed down and inspected to confirm even cleaning with no missed sections or streaking. Standing water was pushed away from walkways and gathering areas to allow the space to dry quickly and be safely used shortly after completion.
By the end of the job, the patio and pavilion had a noticeably brighter, refreshed appearance.
