QualityPRO Power Washing Commercial Exterior Pressure Washing in Chattanooga TN
This project involved a comprehensive pressure washing and sanitation of a restaurant’s sidewalk, patio, and dumpster area using a hydrant-fed system to remove heavy grime, stains, and grease while ensuring a clean and inviting environment for guests.
This project involved a comprehensive exterior wash for a restaurant in Chattanooga, focusing on high-traffic and high-visibility areas: the front sidewalk, the outdoor patio, and the dumpster service area. All work was completed using water supplied from a nearby fire hydrant (with proper connections and backflow protection), ensuring consistent water volume and pressure throughout the job.
Work began at the front sidewalk, where accumulated dirt, gum, food spills, and general foot-traffic residue had built up over time. The surface was pre-treated where necessary to help break down stubborn spots, then cleaned using high-pressure washing to lift grime from the textured concrete. Care was taken to work in controlled sections so that runoff was directed away from entrances and pedestrian paths, keeping the restaurant accessible during the process. The finished sidewalk presented a noticeably brighter, more uniform appearance and restored traction in areas that had become slick from buildup.
The patio area received similar treatment, but with added attention to guest-facing details. Furniture was moved or carefully worked around, and vulnerable surfaces were protected as needed. The washing process removed food and beverage stains, mildew, and general weathering from the patio floor. Edges, corners, and transitions near walls and posts were detailed to prevent visible lines between cleaned and uncleaned areas. The result was a refreshed outdoor dining space with a much cleaner, more inviting look for customers.
In the dumpster area, the focus extended beyond appearance to include sanitation and odor reduction. This section had heavier accumulations of grease, organic residue, and staining from repeated trash handling. Surfaces were first cleared of loose debris, then treated to help break down grease before pressure washing. The pavement, surrounding curb lines, and contact zones where bins are placed were all thoroughly washed. Special care was taken to control and direct wash water so that contaminated runoff did not spread to customer areas or neighboring properties.
Throughout the project, the water supply was drawn from a hydrant using appropriate fittings and safety measures, ensuring adequate pressure for effective cleaning while maintaining compliance with local regulations. The workflow was planned to minimize disruption to the restaurant’s operations and to leave all work areas clear, rinsed, and ready for use once the washing was completed.
