QualityPRO Power Washing Construction Exterior Wash in Chattanooga TN
This project involved a comprehensive post-construction exterior cleaning of three commercial properties in Chattanooga, utilizing specialized detergents to pressure wash retaining walls, concrete aprons, porches, and multi-level composite decks.
This project involved a full construction clean-up and exterior wash for the commercial Retaining Wall Pressure Washing and associated structures at 365, 361, and 357 4th Street in Chattanooga. The work was completed after construction activities and focused on delivering a finished, clean presentation of all visible exterior hard surfaces.
The scope of work covered the Retaining Wall Pressure Washing, the front apron, and multiple levels of exterior living and access spaces at each address. All surfaces were first inspected to identify construction debris, buildup, and organic growth such as mold and mildew. A controlled surface wash was then performed using a blend of detergents specifically selected to remove mold, mildew, dirt, dust, pollen, and general construction residue without damaging the underlying materials.
At each property, the cleaning included:
- **Retaining Wall Pressure Washing and Front Apron**
The commercial Retaining Wall Pressure Washing and the front concrete apron were thoroughly washed to remove construction dust, splatter, and organic staining. Metal flashing on top of the wall was carefully cleaned to remove residue and streaking, leaving a consistent, finished appearance along the entire wall line.
- **Front Porch Areas**
The brick and concrete surfaces of the front porches were surface washed, paying particular attention to mortar dust, footprints, and light construction stains. Handrails were also cleaned to remove dust, fingerprints, and any remaining job-site grime, resulting in a move-in-ready entrance at each address.
- **Second-Floor Front Composite Decks**
The front second-floor composite decks and associated handrails were treated with the detergent blend and rinsed thoroughly. This removed airborne dust, pollen, and any construction residue that had settled on the horizontal surfaces and rail components.
- **Second-Floor Rear Composite Decks**
At the rear of each building, the second-floor composite decks received the same surface wash and rinse. These areas, including adjacent trim and nearby surfaces, were cleared of residual construction dust, organic growth, and dirt, with particular care given to rinsing away detergents to protect the composite materials and surrounding finishes.
- **Third-Floor Composite Decks and Handrails**
The third-floor decks and handrails at each address were cleaned in the same manner, ensuring that all elevated outdoor areas were free from dust, pollen, and buildup from ongoing construction. Handrails were wiped and rinsed clean so they presented well and were comfortable to use immediately.
Across all three properties—365, 361, and 357 4th Street—the process was consistent: a detergent-based surface wash to break down organic growth and construction residue, followed by a thorough rinse of every treated area. This left the Retaining Wall Pressure Washing, front apron, porches, decks, handrails, and metal flashing in a clean, finished condition, suitable for final inspections, occupancy, and everyday use.
