QualityPRO Power Washing Day Cab Truck – Standard Exterior Wash – Weekly Service

Pressure washed truck exteriors with detergents to remove dirt and residue, followed by a thorough rinse for a clean finish.

This recurring project involved providing a consistent, high-quality exterior wash for a fleet of day cab trucks on a weekly schedule in Chattanooga. The work focused on maintaining a clean, professional appearance for each unit while protecting finishes and extending the life of exterior components.

Each service visit began with organizing and verifying the trucks on the wash list using the provided unit numbers:

Once units were confirmed and staged, the exterior wash process followed a consistent, methodical workflow:

1. **Pre‑Rinse and Surface Prep**
Each truck received a full exterior pre‑rinse to knock down loose dirt, road dust, and heavier accumulations of mud and soil. This step ensured that detergents could work directly on the remaining film and residue without being blocked by heavy debris.

2. **Detergent Application**
A carefully selected blend of professional‑grade detergents was applied to all exterior surfaces of the cab and front of the chassis. This included the hood, grill, bumper, mirrors, fuel tanks, steps, and visible frame components, as well as wheel faces and accessible underbody areas where road grime commonly builds up.
The detergent mix was chosen to break down road film, grease, and organic residue while remaining safe for paint, clear coat, aluminum, and plastic components.

3. **Agitation and Detail Attention**
After allowing appropriate dwell time, problem areas—such as lower panels, wheel wells, steps, and behind the cab where buildup is heaviest—were addressed more thoroughly. Pressure and technique were adjusted as needed to dislodge stubborn soil without damaging finishes, decals, or sensitive fittings.

4. **High‑Pressure Rinse**
Each truck was then thoroughly rinsed using high‑pressure water to remove detergents along with the loosened dirt and film. The rinse process covered all treated surfaces methodically to prevent streaking or residue spots and to ensure that no detergent remained in seams, around light housings, or on glass.

5. **Final Pass and Visual Check**
After rinsing, a final walk‑around was performed on each unit to confirm that the exterior was free of visible dirt, soap, and streaks. Any missed spots or water runs were readdressed immediately. Special care was taken around windshields, mirrors, and front‑facing surfaces that impact driver visibility and overall appearance.

Because this was a weekly service, the process was designed for consistency and repeatability. Regular attention prevented heavy buildup, reduced the need for aggressive cleaning methods, and kept the fleet in a presentable condition for customers, inspectors, and drivers. Over the course of the engagement, all listed units were maintained on schedule, resulting in a clean, uniform look across the entire group of day cab trucks in Chattanooga.
