This project involved a complete soft wash of a single-story residence and attached pergola in Chattanooga, with careful attention to all visible exterior surfaces and architectural details.

The work began with a thorough assessment of the home’s exterior, including the soffits, fascia, exterior gutters, downspouts, and all vertical wall surfaces. These wall surfaces included a mix of materials—such as siding, brick, vinyl, Hardie board, and/or stucco—each of which was treated according to its specific cleaning needs and sensitivities.

A low-pressure soft wash process was used throughout, relying on a controlled blend of detergents specifically formulated to break down and lift organic growth and general buildup without damaging finishes. This cleaning solution was applied evenly across the soffit and fascia lines, along gutter faces and downspouts, and over all wall surfaces. The solution was allowed appropriate dwell time to effectively loosen:

Once the cleaning agents and light scrubbing had done their work, all treated areas were thoroughly rinsed with low pressure. Extra care was taken around doors, windows, landscaping, and decorative features to avoid overspray and protect sensitive materials.
