Exterior surfaces, including driveway, walkways, siding, and gutters, were soft washed and rinsed to remove mold, mildew, dirt, and stains, with a 1-year mold & mildew warranty.
This project involved a complete exterior refresh of a one-story residence in Chattanooga, focusing on both the concrete surfaces and the home’s exterior envelope.
The work began with the concrete areas: the driveway, walkway, and front curb were surface washed using a targeted blend of detergents. This process was designed to break down and lift mold, mildew, general dirt, and other surface residue that had built up over time. After the detergents had time to work, the concrete was thoroughly rinsed, restoring a much cleaner, brighter appearance to the primary entry points of the home.
Attention then moved to the front porch and the lower brick and window ledge areas. These more detailed surfaces were carefully cleaned to remove organic growth and soil accumulation while preserving the integrity of the materials and surrounding finishes. This helped unify the look of the front façade so that the concrete, brick, and trim now appeared clean and consistent.
The full perimeter of the house was then addressed, including the foundation and all upper and lower exterior components. The soffits, fascia, exterior gutters, and downspouts were cleaned and rinsed, removing streaking, buildup, and cobwebs that tend to collect around rooflines and eaves.
All vertical exterior surfaces—including siding, brick, vinyl, Hardie board, and any stucco areas—were soft washed rather than high-pressure washed. A carefully mixed detergent solution was applied to loosen dirt, dust, mold, mildew, pollen, and cobwebs. Where needed, light scrubbing was performed to address more stubborn spots and minor staining. Each area was then rinsed thoroughly, ensuring cleaning agents and dislodged residue were fully removed and that water was directed away from the home’s foundation and landscaping.
By the end of the project, the home’s exterior and all primary concrete surfaces had been comprehensively cleaned, resulting in a fresher, well-maintained appearance from curb to foundation. The work on this property was completed under a mold and mildew warranty, reflecting the long-lasting nature of the cleaning performed.
